I have always loved reading old diaries of distant lives. Here you can read my ongoing story, a log of riding a log (if you will) with musings, tales, poetry, jargon, secrets, cliches, whatnots and whatever else might pop into my head. So next time you are stuck indoors, pull up a warm chair and read about the simple happenings of my life in the Pacific Ocean.

Back with Saint Diego

Back in San Diego, with a beautiful swell and the sun out. Today, I traveled through the Ocean Beach farmers market; a reality that only exists on Wednesdays. (If I could create a world, it would like a lot like that.) Characters of all kinds: musicians, travelers, locals, vocals, socially minded, monks, children, young people, older people, elderly, vendors from all around, of all kinds and just about everyone else. As I walked through, basking in the sun and culture, I saw a print at an art table that I had seen before. Falling in love with this table laden with beauty, I asked the three people sitting there who the artist was. Slightly confused on how to explain, they said "all of us." Their various prints, each with their own feel but meshing well as friends often do. Three amigos, out to add their own contribution of style to an already colorful place. Inspired by the movement of the waves, their paint swirled with the flow of the ocean. And as wonderful people like that go, they each gave me a print. It made my day. I waltzed through my favorite kind of marketplace, knowing that I could take some of that life to the white walls of my new apartment.
